A Message from Peg McDermott:
The Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce (TRCC), proudly serves as your benchmark to business success in the Tysons Region. Amid our area’s rapid transformation, characterized by mid-rise and high-rise construction and a new Silver Line metro, is a community that thrives on relationships and knowledge share. Trade organizations, defense contractors, retail and service providers can make the most of their resources with the support of the TRCC.
Tysons is the largest Business District with more than 26 million square feet of office space in Fairfax County. It anchors a diverse corporate landscape that’s home to many corporate headquarters such as IntelSat, Hilton, and Capital One, federal government agencies, and local businesses.
Just as the defense industry brought forth change in the 1980’s to what we knew as underdeveloped farmland in the 1960s, a new era is again transforming the Tysons Region; this time as an international destination. We continue to serve as the beacon for this ever-expanding community and its surrounding areas.
Tysons is the site of four Metrorail stations on the Silver Line that eventually will link the area to Reston and Washington Dulles International Airport to the west and Washington, D.C., to the east. The first phase of the Silver Line — four stations in Tysons and one in Reston — opened in July 2014.
Keeping our supportive network of relationships intact while embracing new growth and change is the TRCC’s ongoing pursuit. No matter what your business profile, it is our goal to help you navigate the region’s booming business climate, while still ensuring that the corporate environment does not eclipse its culture and sense of community.
As the Chairman of the Board of the Tysons Regional Chamber of Commerce, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone to our organization and encourage you to experience the best of what Tysons has to offer.
