David MacGillivray

David MacGillivray draws upon more than 40 years of business experience in a variety of roles including general management, finance and accounting, sales and marketing, strategic management consulting, human resources, and business and executive coaching.

David is a Retired Partner with Ernst & Young, was CEO of a $60 million import/export business, founded, operated and sold a $7 million import/export business, was a Business and Executive Coach with ActionCOACH and is currently a Managing Director with Human Capital Advisors. David has helped many business owners and executives achieve success and realize their ambitions.

David is on the Board of Directors of the TysonsRegional Chamber of Commerce and serves as VP of Finance. He is actively involved with the Greater Washington Board of Trade.  

David is a CPA. His college training at California State University – Los Angeles and the University of Southern California focused on business, economics and accounting. Prior to college, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He is married, has three married children, and seven grandchildren. His hobbies include family, travel, golf, tennis, fitness, reading and investing.
